Our Story

Beginning with roots in north Florida, Jeff Blakey began working with radial aircraft engines along side the likes of his father. After many years learning and perfecting his craft, he stretched beyond the limits of the sunshine state and his relocated his family to Texas in 1990.

Blakey Engine Service thrived for almost 10 years grounded on the Denton Municipal Airport where it provided Jeff the opportunity to grow the business and create a following of loyal clients from around the country and across the world. In the early 2000s, BES was relocated to Roanoke, Texas and just off the runway of Northwest Regional Airport; about 5 miles from Texas Motor Speedway.

Here, it's provided Jeff closer proximity to valuable vendors within the greater DFW metroplex, easier access to DFW Airport (for the seem less travel of out-of-state clients) and the ability to focus specifically on the work, just himself.

Currently, Jeff is wonderfully busy re-building and repairing all likes of radial aircraft engines and looks forward to hearing from you about what he can do to help get you flying.
